The Education Outcome Score is a measure of educational outcomes and is based on the output indicators. And Hard Infrastructure Score is an input indicator which reflects public-sector spending on province education facilities.

4. What are the data sources for the Education Outcome and School Hard Infrastructure Scores?

The data used for calculating both the scores comes from the Ministry of Education (MOE) Education Management Information Systems (EMIS). We have used the latest data published by the MOE and if the data for the latest year was not available then we relied on the data from the earlier years.

5. Does ErfanEd collect its own data for the compilation of provincial ranking?

No, we have not collected or used any of our own data. The data used for the ranking is published by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Afghanistan.

6. What are the limitation of the Afghanistan Province Education Rankings?

The limitation with the ranking is the quality of data published by the MOE. The veracity of the data needs to be checked by third-party so that we have a better-quality data and the rankings can reflect the status of the education quality in the country.
